Welcome to the project website of the Ecodesign Preparatory Study for Lifts (GROW Lot 11).
The Ecodesign Directive (Directive 2009/125/EC) establishes a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products with the aim of ensuring the free movement of such products within the internal market.
This study provides the European Commission with a technical, environmental and economical analysis of lifts in accordance with Article 15 of the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC. It is based on the Methodology for Ecodesign of Energy-related Products (MEErP) detailed on the methodology page.
The study was started in September 2017 and is expected to be completed in summer 2019. Reports and other related documents will be published on the documents page.
The study will require active participation from stakeholders who are willing to contribute. If you would like to be involved in the consultation process, you can do so through the website and/or participation at stakeholder meetings. If you would like to register to be part of the stakeholder group, receive project updates and engage in the consultation, please use the stakeholder page for registration.
